The University of Mary Washington Teaching Center is a new initiative, designed to support excellence in teaching and advance student learning at the University. In the 2008-2009 academic year, a search will be conducted for a Director who will work with the University faculty and the Provost to plan, develop, and implement the programs of the center.

With the intention of creating a dynamic and participatory program from the start, a new interactive Web environment has been created. The TeachUMW Web Site is NOT a static, informational Web site pushing information to the community.
