Admissions Diversity Advisory Committee Student Recruiters

The Admissions Diversity Advisory Committee Student Recruiters help the University of Mary Washington to build its multicultural community.   The Committee’s eight student recruiters are key advocates in promoting an open, innovative, informed and ongoing conversation about how to increase diversity.

These students work with an Admissions staff person to recruit at local high schools and college fairs, participate in phone-a-thons, serve on panels and make policy recommendations to the Vice President for Enrollment.

All upper class students (rising sophomores, juniors and seniors) who share our passion for diversifying our campus community are invited to apply.

Students interested in being on the committee must contact the Admissions Office for an application by April 15 at admit@umw.edu.
