1. Apply Over the Web
Apply online using the Undergraduate Freshman and Transfer Application.
2. Use the Common Application
UMW welcomes the Common Application online as well as the paper version. You'll need to fill out the Common Application Supplement PDF for UMW (so you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader). If you are completing the Common Application online, the UMW supplement can also be completed online by clicking the Supplements tab.

Residents of Virginia using the Common Application will need to complete the Application for Virginia In-State Tuition and Fees. This form can be completed with the Common Application Online by clicking on the Supplements tab.
3. Download the Online PDF Application
Many students prefer to fill out a paper application. After downloading the application below, fill out the information, then send it to UMW via the mail. Print these forms using Acrobat Reader—you can get it by clicking here. The forms may be filled out electronically if you choose, but may not be saved to your hard drive unless you have Adobe Acrobat software installed. Please plan to complete the application electronically in one period of time or print the form and fill out by hand.

5. Attention International Student Applicants
Non-United States citizens must submit the International Student Application Supplement in addition to their Application for Admission.
