UMW to Conduct Test of Emergency Alert Networks at 10:16 a.m. Today

Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 4:57 P.M.

The National Weather Service  has issued a severe thunderstorm warning effective until 4:57 p.m. for Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania and Culpeper counties. This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path, prepare immediately for damaging wind gusts, large hail and  lightning. Move indoors to a sturdy building and stay away from windows.

UMW Closed on Monday, May 26

The university will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. All administrative offices will be closed and classes will not be in session. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27.
