* The student housing building is now up to the fourth of five levels, and bricklayers have begun work on the back side.
* Concrete pillars and several floors are already in place for the mixed-use building.

 7STUDENTS HELPING HONDURAS

SHHFashionable, Affordable, Eco-Friendly Clutches
Students Helping Honduras and the UMW Bookstore have teamed up to sell a line of clutches by Honduran artisans. The purses are crafted in Honduras from 100-percent post-consumer snack bags and labels. All clutches and purses are handmade by women from Siete de Abril and Villa Soleada, communities located in El Progreso, Honduras.  Net proceeds from these bags provide income for the artisans, many of whom struggle to provide food, housing, and education for their families.  Priced at $14.99 - $39.99, they are available now in the bookstore and online at www.umw.edu/bookstore.  For more information about Students Helping Honduras visit: www.studentshelpinghonduras.org.
