CLASS OF 1973 • 35th Reunion

The class of 1973 will have their class picture taken at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 31. The picture will be taken on the steps of Monroe Hall during the picnic luncheon.

 

Remember "once upon a time" in fall of 1969,
The very day we came to be the class of 1973?
We wore our beanies so proudly
    Midst Goat and Devil rivalry.
        We studied hard and made new friends
  and hoped that good times would not end.
Four years later, we bid adieu to Mary Wash and Carl's, too!
      Now it's time for "35" to reunite and come alive.
      Please return and bring a "bud"
        so our class party won't be a dud.
     Hope to see you late in May. You don't want to miss a day.
     We will help any way we can
            to make your weekend really grand!!!!!!!

Now that you are convinced that I have been teaching elementary school way too long and I should retire to writing jingles for greeting cards, I promise I will not inflict any more of my "talent" on you if you will please come to Reunion Weekend on May 30-June 1, 2008!

If you are able to arrive on Friday night, we will be planning to go out for dinner together if you desire. The place is undecided at this time but you can email me and I can give you information then. My email address is betsy.combs@powhatan.k12.va.us.

As you receive your registration information, I hope you will plan to come and encourage other classmates to come as well. I'm looking forward to seeing you. Please bring pictures and stuff to share at the picnic on Saturday. See you then.
