CLASS OF 1993 • 15th Reunion

The class of 1993 will have their class picture taken at 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 31. The picture will be taken on the steps of Monroe Hall during the picnic luncheon.

 

Attention 1993 Classmates!

Time is marching on…  Seems like we just had our 10th reunion, and now we’re back at it again.  This summer, the Mary Washington College class of 1993 will be having its 15th Reunion!  Can you believe it?  But like the old saying goes, we’re not getting older, just wiser!

If you missed the earlier reunions, or haven’t been back to Homecoming in years, this is your chance to make up for it!  Reunion Weekend 2008 will be held May 30- June 1st.  And for the early-arrivers, there will be a pre-reunion “Alumni College” program running from Thursday May 29th through Friday morning, May 30th, where graduates can attend classes on various subjects.

The Alumni Association has scheduled a number of events for Reunion Weekend, including faculty lectures, tours of the campus (if you haven’t been back, you won’t recognize it!), breakfast at Seacobeck, and of course, the reunion picnic and class photo. 

In addition, there is a new activity this year which is sure to be a blast – the Class of ’93 dinner on Friday night.  It will be held at Castiglia’s Italian Restaurant, located in downtown Fredericksburg at 324 William Street.  We will be getting together starting at 6:30PM.  The restaurant has a casual atmosphere to go along with a rather broad menu of pizza & pasta dishes.  Space is limited, so get there early!

You’ll receive the Reunion registration information soon, and you can also visit www.umw.edu/alumni/ and click the Reunion logo. Please check the enclosed list of “lost classmates”, and if you have information on them, forward it to the Alumni office.  Also, there are a number of hotels that are offering special rates for Reunion Weekend (see enclosed list).  Reserve your rooms early, and consider booking blocks of rooms with fellow ‘93ers! 

Again, mark your calendars for May 30 – June 1st.  Join all of your old friends, make some new ones, but most importantly, JUST SHOW UP!!!
