New! The class of 1974 will have Friday night dinner at Ristorante Renato's 422 William Street, Fredericksburg, VA where we have a private room reserved. There is a fixed menu with a variety of entrees at a cost of $35 per person, all inclusive (dinner and service tip). A separate cash bar will be available as well. Accommodations

Our class is staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites at Central Park, just off Route 3 / I-95. A block of rooms has been reserved until early May or until filled. The cost is $99 plus tax per night for two (2) guests (if you want to make it more like a dorm room, you can add more guests for a small additional charge). When you make your reservation, please use the “code” REU and tell them it is for the Class of 1974 - UMW Reunion. Make sure that they put you with the Class of 1974, as there will be lots of alumni in town. The reservation number is (540) 786-5530. Reserve your room today!

Class giving campaign

A final reminder. This is the Centennial Year of Mary Washington (1908-2008) – we know it’s 2009, but the 2008 fiscal year ends in June 2009. Therefore, all contributions made to the Fund for Mary Washington before June 30th of this year will go toward the Centennial Fund and get us closer to winning the coveted “Reunion Eagle Award” for the highest class participation. Help wrest this out of the hands of the Class of ’69 which is already bragging that it is theirs! Information for making a donation or a pledge is at www.umw.edu/gift.
