The Center brought the following individuals to MWC for a one day conference: Mr. Leonard Chao, Director of Public Affairs for the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO), Taiwan's unofficial embassy; Dr. Shelley Rigger, Assoc. Professor, Davidson College; Dr. Cheng Tun-jen, Professor, Wm & Mary; Mr. Stephen Yates, Sr. Researcher, The Heritage Foundation; Dr. Lai I-chung, Executive Director of the DPP Mission in the United States; and Mr. Tung Chen-yuan, Ph.D. candidate, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Elizabeth Freund of MWC hosted and chaired the Roundtable.
