Three UMW Runners Advance to NCAA Cross Country Nationals
November 10, 2007The University of Mary Washington women's cross country team finished fourth among 28 schools and the men's team finished fifth among 21 schools at the NCAA Division III Southeast Regional in Williamsburg, Virginia on Saturday. For the women, seniors Cristy Falcone and Ann Tripp, and for the men, sophomore Frank DeVar advanced to next week's NCAA Division III National Championships at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. •more

Falcone was Mary Washington's top finisher, with a time of 22:12, finishing eighth overall. UMW finished eighth among 33 schools at the Paul Short Invite. •more
