UMW's Charlie White Scores Twice in USILA Division III Senior All-Star Game
May 19, 2009University of Mary Washington senior CHARLIE WHITE (Alexandria, Va./T.C. Williams) scored a pair of goals for the South team in the annual USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game on May 22 at Harvard Stadium. The South team emerged victorious, 17-13.
UMW Men's Lacrosse Falls at #10 Salisbury in CAC Tourney First Round
April 13, 2009The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-5 decision at 10th ranked Salisbury University in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament on Monday afternoon. The Eagles close the season with a record of 8-7 overall.
UMW Men's Lacrosse Edges Marymount, 10-9; Advances to CAC Tournament
April 10, 2009The university of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team used four goals from junior Dan Coats in defeating Marymount University, 10-9, on Friday at the Battleground. The Eagles close the regular season with an 8-6 record, and advance to the Capital Athletic Conference tournament, where they will visit Salisbury University on Monday at 4:00 p.m.

April 4, 2009The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team dropped an 11-9 decision to York College on Saturday at the Battleground. The Eagles fall to 7-6 on the season, and 1-5 in Capital Athletic Conference play.

March 31, 2009The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-5 decision at fourth-ranked Salisbury University on Tuesday evening in Capital Athletic Conference action. The Eagles fall to 7-5 on the season.

UMW Men's Lacrosse Tops Hood, 13-5, to improve to 7-4
March 28, 2009Senior Brent Fisk scored a pair of goals to lead 12 different UMW players in the goal column, as the Eagles topped Hood College, 13-5, in Capital Athletic Conference play on Saturday at the Battleground. The Eagles improve to 7-4 on the season.

March 25, 2009The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team fell behind, 5-2, by halftime, and were unable to recover in a 7-6 to St. Mary's College on Wednesday at the Battleground. The Eagles fall to 6-4 on the season, and 0-3 in Capital Athletic Conference play.
UMW's Kleman Named CAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week: Rowell Receives Honorable Mention
March 23, 2009MEN'S LACROSSE Mary Washington sophomore goalkeeper RYAN KLEMAN (Fairfax, Va./Robinson) was named the CAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week after recording 32 saves, a 62.5 save percentage and allowing just 7.55 goals against in two non-conference wins. Kleman opened the week with 16 stops in a 12-7 win over SUNY-Plattsburgh, then rejected another 16 shots in a 12-4 win over Randolph-Macon, which was ranking among others receiving votes in last week's USILA Top 20 poll. UMW's Kirsten Rowell received special recognition for breaking the school season strikeout record this week.

March 21, 2009Freshman Ryan Wettlaufer scored three goals and added two assists and junior Brian Deal added three goals to lead the University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team to a 12-4 victory over Randolph-Macon College at the Battleground on Saturday afternoon. Harry Snyder and Charlie White each scored twice for the Eagles, who improve to 6-3 on the season.

March 18, 2009Senior midfielder Brent Fisk scored five goals to lead the University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team to a 12-7 win over SUNY Plattsburgh on Wednesday afternoon at the Battleground. The Eagles improve to 5-3 on the season, while the Cardinals fall to 4-2 overall.

March 14, 2009Third ranked Stevenson University broke open a 5-3 game by outscoring the University of Mary Washington, 8-0 in the third quarter, in topping the Eagles, 17-4, in Capital Athletic Conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday. The Eagles fall to 4-3, while Stevenson improves to 6-0.

Deal's OT Score Lifts UMW Men's Lacrosse Past McDaniel, 8-7
March 11, 2009Junior Brian Deal scored the game-winning goal with 42 seconds remaining in overtime, as the University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team improved to 4-2 on the season with an 8-7 win over McDaniel College on Wednesday at the Battleground. Senior Brent Fisk scored three goals and senior Charlie White added two goals and two assists for the Eagles.

February 25, 2009The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team dug itself into an eary hole, and nearly was able to recover in falling just short against 14th ranked Washington & Lee University on Wednesday at the Battleground. The Generals open at 1-0 on the season, while UMW, who received votes in this week's poll, falls to 2-1.
UMW Men's Lacrosse Receives Votes in USILA National Poll
February 23, 2009The University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team was mentioned under the category of "also receiving votes" in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's preseason poll, which was released on Monday. The national mention is the Eagles' first poll recognition since the 2005 season, when UMW was ranked as high as #20 in the nation.

February 14, 2009Senior attacker Sean Brown scored five goals, and senior midfielder Brent Fisk added three goals to pace the University of Mary Washington men's lacrosse team to a 16-8 win over Virginia Wesleyan College in the 2009 season opener on Saturday at the Battleground. Senior middie Charlie White added two goals and four assists for the Eagles.
