Project B.O.B.

PROJECT communications plan

It's essential to all those involved with Project B.O.B. that the UMW Community stays well-informed about the project's impact, progress, and timeline. To that end, a detailed communications has been formulated to ensure that all information about Project B.O.B. is made clear to everyone at UMW, as well as key state agencies overseeing the project's success.

The Project B.O.B. communications plan has been completed, with specifics about the vehicles for each phase being fleshed out on an ongoing basis. We began with a kick-off event in June 2003, and this Web site is now among the primary mass communications vehicles for Project B.O.B. The visit from BOB to campus, What About B.O.B.? information sessions and other events, presentations, discussion sessions and Web content are planned throughout the project.

Banner Student Communications Plan

Banner student marks the culmination of the initial Banner launch, and paves the way for a truly single sign-on enviroment in our upcoming University Portal ("OneU"). As a result, the communications strategy for this module, and for the retirement of Eaglelink, our legacy student system, is complex enough to require a standalone communications plan.
