Meeting Dates
2009-2010
Unless otherwise noted below, all meetings of the Board of Visitors will be held in the Minor Board Room, which is located on the first floor of the Jepson Alumni Executive Center at 1119 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia.. Meeting times will be posted as agendas are finalized.
The Board of Visitors does not accept public comment at its meetings.
Full Board Meetings:
July 16-18, 2009: Thursday meeting begins at 2 p.m. Meetings held at the Gari Melchers Studio Pavilion at Belmont in Falmouth, Virginia.

Executive Committee Meetings
August 20, 2009: Meeting begins at 2 p.m. The purpose is to set the agenda for the September Board meeting.
October 21, 2009: There will be two meetings, the first beginning at 1 p.m. to set the agenda for the November Board meeting, and the second beginning at 3:30 p.m. with the Faculty Affairs Committee and the Faculty Organization and Welfare Committee to discuss faculty issues. Both meetings will be held in two locations. The main location is: the Jepson Alumni Executive Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The remote location is the Emory University Conference Center lobby, located at 1615 Clifton Road, Atlanta, Georgia.
December 15, 2009: Meeting begins at 3 p.m. The purpose is to discuss real estate in a closed meeting.
January 20, 2010: Meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. The purpose is to set the agenda for the February Board meeting. Members will attend a luncheon prior to the meeting and a public lecture at 3 p.m. to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.
March 7, 2010: Meeting begins at 11:00 a.m. The purpose is for a closed session to discuss personnel matters pertaining to planning for future personnel.
March 17, 2010: Meeting begins with lunch at noon. The purpose is to set the agenda for the April Board meeting and to name an Acting President as of April 1, 2010. At 3:30 p.m., the Executive Committee will be joined by members of the Faculty Organization and Welfare Committee and Faculty Affairs Committee to discuss faculty issues.
