OFFICE MOVES FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY-RELATED UNITS

Recent years have seen many changes in location for information technology-related units. For those that have moved in recent years, here are their locations.

CURRENT LOCATIONS

  • Fredericksburg campus offices for User Services (Help Desk, Technology Training and Desktop Support) and for Networks and Communication Services : These units moved into their permanent homes in the renovated ground-floor of George Washington Hall in January 2008.
  • Business and Planning: Five other staff members (the DoIT business and planning units) formerly working in Trinkle and duPont (along with several stations for DoIT telecommuters) have moved to leased space at Centre Court, at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 1.
  • Teaching and Learning Technologies in duPont: The Department of Teaching and Learning Technologies has consolidated its staff of Instructional Technology Specialists into a space on duPont’s third floor.
  • University Data Management Department in Stafford : The University Data Management Department is now located on the second floor of the South Building at the College of Graduate and Professional Studies campus in Stafford.
