Career Fairs

Career Day, October 22, 2009

Each year, the Office of Career Services sponsors career fairs. We start in the fall with Career Day. Career Day was originally Careers and Majors Day, a day for alumni to come back to campus to share their career experiences with students. This program now includes alumni as well as employers who wish to recruit Mary Washington students for full-time and internship positions. Career Day is held on the Fredericksburg campus in the Woodward campus center from mid morning into the afternoon. If you wish to receive more information about the fair, please contact the Career Services office at 540/654-1022 and request to be added to the fair invitation list.

Employer Fair, March 18, 2010

Employer Fair is geared toward employers who are seeking to hire undergraduate and graduate UMW students for full-time positions upon graduation, including education related positions. It is also a venue to advertise internship opportunities. Employer Fair is held each spring at the UMW Stafford campus in the afternoon/evening hours. Employer Fair 2009 will be held Thursday, March 18th. The UMW Stafford campus is located off of Route 17 North, approximately eight miles from the Fredericksburg campus. To register as an employer attendee, download and submit the Employer Reservation form today, as space is limited.
