Finding a job can be a daunting experience. Over the past several years many aspects of the job search have moved online. Many of the services that we offer are now online as well, including job listings and our résumé referral service. We encourage you to explore the links on the left, but you may want to start with eRecruiting. Opportunities posted on eRecruiting are specifically targeted at UMW students.
Password Protected Job Resources
The sites below are password protected resources that will aid you in your job search. Click on the links to find out about listings or to research careers.
eRecruiting/Experience: search job and internship listings, locate alumni mentors, upload your résumé so that it can be seen by employers, or signup for on-campus interviews.
CAREER SEARCH : A database of over two million organizations that can be searched by type and location. The site also provides a salary calculator, and information about specific cities and countries. You can self-register by clicking on the Career Search link above. It will take you to the log in screen. Click on “Create an Account Now” under new users and fill in the fields. The first box is for the referral key which is: umw04. After filling in the boxes accordingly you will be brought back to the screen above with all the boxes under “Returning Users” filled in. Click on “Log in Now”. You are now in your own CareerSearch account!
VAULT ONLINE CAREER LIBRARY : Download over 90 books in adobe format, conduct company or industry research, review career advice, watch career videos, and participate in message boards. To create an account, click the link above and type your UMW email address in under "New to Career Insider?" and click "Create an Account". Follow the instructions and create a username and password that you will remember because you can use it in the future to gain assess to Vault Online.
Click on the link above to obtain access to thousands of jobs across the country. Once in the NACElink system click "NACElink Extended Job Search" for the largest listing of opportunities.**UMW Career Services uses the eRecruiting database to post the majority of the job and internship opportunities we receive from employers.
