Resume Review Services
After using the resume writing handout or attending the resume writing workshop, schedule an appointment to have your resume reviewed. If you don't have time for an appointment but you want to have your résumé looked over our Resume Review Service is designed for you! Just email (csehlke@umw.edu)or drop off your résumé and allow three working days for it to be reviewed by a counselor...then come by to pick it up or request that we mail it back to you. Cover letters may also be submitted for critique. We highly recommend that you have your resume reviewed...either in person or via the drop-off service, before publishing it to eRecruiting.
Mock Interviews
Schedule a mock interview with an employer or a career services staff member to practice and receive feedback on your interviewing skills. Appointments are one-hour long and include a review of your resume, typical interview questions, industry specific questions, and a feedback session. To prepare for the mock interview review the Interview Power handout.
