Required Final SABBATICAL Report

Following the first full post-sabbatical semester, the faculty member is required to submit a sabbatical report at the beginning of the consequent semester (i.e., early September for a preceding fall’s sabbatical, early January for a preceding spring’s or full-year’s sabbatical).

There is no standardized format required but the report should review the proposed sabbatical goals with respect to what was accomplished during the sabbatical period and provide a clear summary of the results achieved during the sabbatical period on the sabbatical project undertaken.

If a finished product resulted from the sabbatical project (such as a manuscript), this document should not be submitted by itself as the report.  Rather, the faculty member should provide summary report reflecting on the accomplishments resulting during the sabbatical.  If desired, a finished product may be provided as a supplement to the faculty member’s brief written report.

Submit all final sabbatical reports to Rosemary Barra, Acting Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, George Washington Hall, room 314
