Publications & Guidelines
The Dictionary
of Academic Regulations: Furnishes the information needed for planning and completing a B.A., B.S., or B.L.S. degree program at the University of Mary Washington. Since final responsibility for meeting all degree requirements rests with the individual student, each student should have complete knowledge of the regulations pertaining to the academic program of the University.

Guide and the Transfer Student Academic Planning Guide: These guides are designed to assist
new students in planning an academic program of study.
General
Education Requirements: The University of Mary Washington
requires all students to pursue broad studies in the arts, the humanities,
and the sciences. These studies constitute the General Education component
of the University's academic program and serve as a common academic
foundation for all University of Mary Washington students on the Fredericksburg
campus.

of Mary Washington provides the opportunity for students to develop
a special major if the existing programs do not meet academic interests.
