Bachelor of Liberal Studies: Advising
The BLS Program strives to connect with all of our students in order to insure a productive and satisfying undergraduate experience. Academic advising is the cornerstone to disseminating the most up-to-date information to students. All returning students are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to registering for classes each semester. Registration times are based on the number of completed credits at the time of advanced registration. See the following link for specific registration times for the spring 2009 semester.
What if I missed advising?
Students who miss the advising period must make an appointment with their adviser as soon as possible. All students must be advised prior to registering for spring classes. Students who have not declared a major should call Julie Coates at 654.1120. See the following link for more details.
What if I missed Registration?
Students who miss their window to register for classes must wait until the Adjustment Period. The Adjustment Period begins on August 18 for the fall 2008 semester. All returning students will receive the Priority Registration Number after meeting with his/her advisor. Students will need the PRN when registering in Banner. See the following link for details.
