Opportunities to Conduct Research

The Department encourages interested students to conduct research either at University of Mary Washington, through independent study, honors research, or the Summer Science Research Program. The department also encourages students to seek internships or participate in summer research programs at outside institutions as well. The Department of Chemistry recently established an internship program with the Department of Drug Enforcement.
