Internships

Students may chose to participate in an internship program at businesses or corporations during the summer or during the school year. Students interested in internships should contact the Office of Career Services (GW 305, 654-1271). The following web sites may also help in selecting an internship:

The department is now participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration Student Career Experience Program (SCEP). This is a program designed to provide DEA with quality personnel and to provide students with exposure to public service and an understanding of diverse job opportunities. A currently enrolled chemistry major will be selected by the chemistry department to work with the DEA during summers, breaks, and up to 20 hours per week.
