Students
The Department of Classics, Philosophy, and Religion sponsors a number of annual events, open both to majors and to all interested. These include: the Fall picnic, an informal get-together early in the semester; CPR Career night, when students have a chance to chat with alums about their post-CPR career paths; and the Spring reception to recognize CPR's graduating senior.
The disciplinary clubs sponsor a variety of activities throughout the year, including films, discussions , and museum trips. Interested non-majors as well as majors are always welcome, contact the departmental or club representatives for more information.
Congratulations to graduating senior Susan E. Drummond, who delivered a paper, " 'Tune hinc spoliis indute meorum eripiare mihi?…': tune, furor, and power reversals in the Aeneid," in April at the 105th Annual Meeting of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South, held this year in Minneapolis.
