b) specify if you are seeking a waiver for novice or junior varsity

c) request a specific length of time for the waiver of eligibility, i.e., one tournament, two tournaments. Be aware that the Executive Committee will not grant waivers for longer periods of time than a few tournaments. However, you do have the ability to re-submit your appeal after the waiver has expired.

d) indicate the record of the student(s), including how many rounds and their won/loss records

2) Forward the letter with the above information to John Katsulas, the Vice-President of the ADA. The preferred method of receiving requests for appeals is by e-mail. Send your appeal to katsulas@bc.edu . You can fax your appeal to 617-552-2286. Mail your appeal to John Katsulas, Communication Department, Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467

3) The Vice-President will forward all requests for appeals to a vote by the ADA Executive Committee. A simple majority vote is required for an appeal to be granted.

4) After receiving the decision from the ADA Executive Committee, the Vice-President will notify you. Normally, this process takes no more than one week. If a waiver is granted, the Vice-President will also notify any tournament director who will be impacted by the decision.
