Last March Chuck Whipkey, Ben Kisila and Neil Tibert brought several UMW geology students (Pam Medley, Kristin Larkins, Tom Shuck, Joe Church and Matt Ricker) to the Northeastern section meeting of the Geological Society of America held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. These faculty members and students presented results of three ongoing research projects:
