The SHC is closed and I’m sick. What do I do?

If you become ill at night or on weekends when the SHC is closed you have several options:

Self-Care Cart
We have a self-care cart available on the second floor of Woodard Campus Center. This is stocked with common cough, cold and pain medications to help you treat yourself as you would at home. You may get self-care advice here.

Healthlink
Call 540-741-1000 (a local call) and speak with a registered nurse at HealthLink.
There is no charge or cost to you for this call.

RA
If your problem is more serious and needs immediate help, talk to your resident advisor.

Campus Police
If your problem is even more serious, than call the campus police at 654-1025.
