MRSA
There is increasing national and local concern about MRSA (Multiply/Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) infections. Prevention is literally in the hands of each one of us.
- Wash your hands often.
- Take care of yourself: Eat right, exercise, quit smoking and avoid stress.
- Take good care of your skin.
- Keep skin infections covered to avoid spreading MRSA to others.
- If you develop a skin infection, please come to the Student Health Center for evaluation and treatment.
You may download an excellent brochure to further learn what you can do. In addition the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has more information here. .
