Gallery Director, Zurich, Switzerland
For our internationally renowned art gallery client in Zurich, Switzerland, specializinginimportant Modern Masters andImpressionism,we are seeking a Gallery Director. The successful applicant willwork with owners to establish and meet annual sales and marketing goals; identify, cultivate and liaise with clients, collectors, curators and other potential buyers; provide strategies and goals for art fair participation; assist in planning exhibitions;liaise with museums, art galleries, auction houses and other public and private organizations; represent the gallery at public functions and events; other duties as necessary. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years managerial and sales experience, preferably with a leading international gallery or auction house, a proven sales history andacomprehensive knowledge ofImpressionismand Modern art. BA required: excellent organizational, communications, interpersonal and managerial skills essential.
