The Theatre Museum's mission is to preserve, protect and perpetuate the legacy of the theatre. We area currently searching for an individuals located in the metro New York area to work part-time as an Assistant to the President and as interns. The Theatre Museum is located in the heart of Times Square. It was established five years ago, and currently functions as a museum at large working in collaboration with other local cultural institutions to develop exhibitions about theatre history.

Job Description for Assistant to the President:
The applicant will work beside the President in day-to-day operations of the Museum. Duties include: bookkeeping; assisting with grant applications and reports; helping to organize exhibitions and public programming events; and serving as a contact to the public (answering phones, returning email, etc…)

Prior development experience and QuickBooks skills helpful.

The position is 2-3 days per week year-round at $12/hour with flexible hours.

Job Description for Intern (unpaid)
To work with TTM staff on exhibitions, photo archive collection, public and education programs as well as annual awards ceremony as required. Flexible hours.
