Information Technology Assistant
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria seeks a candidate for the
position of Information Technology Assistant. He or she will be able
to work independently, possess good oral and written skills
(English), and have an exceptional attention to detail. Advanced
computer skills incl. experience with Visual Basic are necessary;
ASP, XHTML, CSS, SQL, database and data manipulation, and ASP.NET
experience is an asset.
The successful applicant for the position of Information Technology Assistant will work closely with the Information Technology Administrator to streamline and automate our rights & reproductions systems. This will include adding the capacity for online ordering of images from our collection of more than 10,000 currently digitized artworks. The Information Technology Assistant will also assist the Information Technology Administrator in his day to day duties in pursuing new media and technology initiatives in a busy arts organization.
