Heritage Conservation Network

Heritage Conservation Network conducts a series of hands-on workshops designed to teach historic building conservation skills to people interested in historic preservation, including students.

Workshop participants serve as a team of volunteers under the guidance of a technical expert, learning a specialized skill while giving a “bricks and mortar” project some much-needed assistance. In many cases, workshops involve the conservation of vernacular structures that are ineligible for other types of assistance. Workshops in adobe conservation, stone and wood frame conservation, and wood frame and log conservation are currently planned for spring and summer 2003 in a variety of locations. Additional information and registration forms can be found at http://www.heritageconservation.net or by contacting Heritage Conservation Network at 1557 North Street, Boulder, CO 80304 USA (303) 444 0128.
