Study Abroad-Bilbao, Spain
Since 2003, over 250 UMW students have participated in the UMW in Spain program during the summer, for a semester or for the entire academic year. You do not have to be a Spanish major to participate; it is open to all majors. In fact, our course offerings address the needs of many students. Some of our most typical students coming on the program are looking to:
- complete the UMW’s Foreign Language Requirement
- complete their IA major requirement of two courses at the advanced level
- take courses for their Spanish major
- take courses for their Business major
- take courses for their Economics major
- take courses for elective credit
- experience studying in another country
- become more fluent in Spanish
