The Origins of Revisionist and Status-quo States (Palgrave Macmillan), an article on Italy’s policy toward the 2003 Iraq War in Modern Italy, an article (co-authored with Michael J. Powers) on British and French non-proliferation policy in Nonproliferation Review, and an article on the origins of revisionist states in Security Studies.

Recipient, Alumni Association Outstanding Young Faculty Award (2007).
Awarded Jepson Fellowship for 2005-6 for the project titled "Signaling Resolve in Contemporary American Foreign Policy."
Recipient, Academic Affairs Council Professors' Appreciation Award (2002, 2003).

Professor Davidson is a Visiting Scholar at the Aspen Institute Italia in Rome for the 2008-09 academic year where he is working on a book titled Transatlantic Alliance Burden-Sharing from Vietnam to Iraq: Alliance, Interest, and Electoral Politics (under contract with Palgrave Macmillan).
