Desk Aides and Head Desk Managers Wanted!


Service as a Desk Aide in a residence hall carries significant responsibilities.  The role of the Desk Aide is important to the safety and service of all residence hall students, staff and guest of the University of Mary Washington.

Head Desk Managers (HDMs) are responsible for:

  • Supervising a staff of desk aids
  • Submitting a staff’s time sheets
  • Coordinating desk aid schedules
  • Managing personnel and residential issues
  • Other tasks as needed to assist in fulfilling Desk Aid Staff Resonsibilities

Qualifications: A cumlulative GPA of 2.0 is required of all applicants.  Any residential student may apply for this position, but previous experience as a Desk Aid is preferred.  To be considered for the position, you must complete and have on file an Application for Campus Employment. (You can obtain this form at the Office of Financial Aid.)
