Residence Life Student Leaders Wanted!!!
Looking for energetic, enthusiastic, honest, and hardworking Resident Assistants interested in crisis intervention, maintaining campus safety, responding to student concerns, and educating their peers. Competitive compensation package offered! At least one semester of Resident Assistant experience required.
Standards for Consideration:
For all HR Candidates:
- At least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Be in good judicial standing
- Full-time undergraduate student (12 credit hours minimum)
- Must have been a RA for at least one semester.
- No outside responsibilities that require more than a 10 hour per week commitment
- You may not hold the presidency of a major student organization
For returning HR candidates:
- Attend one information session. (Mandatory)
- Attend Open House. (Recommended, but not mandatory)
- Submit a letter of intent to return to the HR position
- Submit goals for the buildings/communities you are interested in
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your current supervisor
- Submit the essay questions in this packet
For new HR candidates:
- Attend one information session. Mandatory.
- Attend Open House. Recommended, but not mandatory.
- Submit a current resume (your RA position should be included)
- Submit a cover letter
- Submit a reference letter from your current supervisor (HR, RD, AC)
- Submit two other reference letters (cannot be from a friend or family member)
How to Apply:
- Attend an information session, if you are unable to attend an information session you may contact Cyndy Richards to arrange an appointment.
- Complete the attached application.
- Submit the application, cover letter, resume, and three letters of reference to the Office of Residence Life by Friday November 21.
