The University of Mary Washington is celebrating its centennial during the 2007-08 academic year to commemorate its founding in 1908. UMW faculty, staff, students, alumni, local community members, and friends are invited to participate in the celebration. Many activities and projects are planned to explore UMW's history and traditions, including exhibits, concerts, and lectures. While providing time for reflection, the centennial also will serve as the springboard for the next 100 years.
