The Community Events and Activities Subcommittee will propose events and activities that involve the off-campus community in order to strengthen university ties to this constituency as part of the Centennial celebration. This subcommittee will be responsible for programs with a community relations and outreach focus, such as the following:

Exhibitions at area museums
Displays of free-standing informational boards
Speakers Bureau engagements
Proclamations from municipalities and legislative bodies
