Centennial Subcommittee Charges
General Guidelines for all Subcommittees:
When questions arise concerning possible overlapping responsibilities between subcommittees, the Centennial Steering Committee will decide which subcommittee will have the primary responsibility for the activity.
All subcommittees, through their chairs, shall submit their plans for proposed Centennial projects to the Steering Committee for review and approval. This process will ensure that the events and activities are included in all Centennial publicity and on the Centennial master calendar. Proposed plans should be submitted with the following information:
- A brief summary of the proposed event or activity
- Identification of the audience
- Description of the presenters
- Statement about relevance to the Centennial celebration
- Theme, and proposed date, time, place
- Funding needs, if any
All requests for consideration on the Steering Committee agenda should be submitted to centennial@umw.edu.
