This subcommittee will coordinate the institution’s Centennial celebrations and activities involving academic programs and in the visual and performing arts (the departments of Art and Art History, Music, and Theatre and Dance). It will closely coordinate its work with the Academic Programs Subcommittee so as to avoid overlapping or duplicative responsibilities. The Visual and Performing Arts Subcommittee will be responsible for such programs as classroom activities involving the visual and performing arts; academic department activities in the visual and performing arts; performances by student and faculty groups; exhibitions; seminars; public lectures; and commissioned score, Music Department Concert Series and student vocal groups.
