About the Campus

The College of Graduate and Professional Studies is located at our campus in Stafford County about seven miles from the Fredericksburg campus. (Click here for maps and directions.)

The Stafford campus opened in 1999 and it now boasts two academic buildings, both designed with advanced technology that meets the needs of working adults pursuing academic and professional development program offerings.

South BuildingThe original South Building has a library, computer labs, videoconferencing theaters, classrooms, administrative offices, the campus Writing Center, and a large, attractive entrance lounge area.

The offices of admissions, advising, registration and student accounts are located in the South Building. The Center for Professional Development and the Rappahannock Region Small Business Development Center are headquartered there as well.

North BuildingThe newer North Building includes classrooms, computer labs, faculty offices, a two-story atrium, and the multi-use University Hall. University Hall has a catering kitchen and is available for public lease for receptions, lectures, banquets and other events.

The campus has 625 parking spaces, including designated parking for alternative-fuel vehicles.
