Events at CGPS Preceding the Beginning of Classes

Prior to the start of fall semester, workshops, orientation sessions, and other events will be offered. Here is the run-down of the schedule:

Human Resources orientation for new faculty, 8:30 a.m.- noon, Dodd Auditorium Foyer, George Washington Hall, Sherry Morgan, Office of Human Resources. All appropriate benefit forms will be distributed and/or collected (Questions? Call Sherry Morgan, x1046)

August - TBA

Orientation for faculty (all full-time and adjunct faculty are invited, with options for choosing sessions most appropriate for individual needs). Times are 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Faculty meeting for CGPS faculty, 204 Trinkle Hall

Honor Convocation, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., Dodd Auditorium. Any CGPS faculty member planning to attend is asked to assemble 20 minutes beforehand in academic regalia on Campus Walk outside George Washington Hall. Honor Convocation Reception for Faculty and Students, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., terrace in front of George Washington Hall.
