The College of Graduate and Professional Studies’ University Hall Conference Center is the region’s premier conference, education, and training venue. This state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located on route U.S. 17 North (Warrenton Road), just three miles from I-95 exit 133 and is close to several business-class hotels, an array of restaurants, and a variety of things to see and do. The campus’ two buildings feature University Hall (2,700+ square feet), 23 classrooms equipped with corporate furnishings and electronic instructor support stations, six computer labs, a network lab, a 28-seat videoconferencing theater featuring IP-based connectivity, two conference rooms, and wireless access throughout the complex. To complement the facility and the more than 600 parking spaces, the Center for Professional Development staff can provide comprehensive event planning and management services.
UNIVERSITY HALL
University Hall can accommodate up to 250 guests theater style and up to 225 guests for a buffet or served meal provided by the University’s food service contractor, Sodexo Catering Services. In addition to state-of-the-art projection systems, University Hall can support up to 75 laptop computers simultaneously accessing our wireless network. Our staff can assist you with the room set-up configuration that will best meet your needs.
Reception Area and Atrium
The striking architecture of our Atrium and the inviting reception area provide the perfect setting to welcome, register, and provide meal service for your guests.
CLASSROOMS
Our 23 classrooms, equipped with corporate furnishings, electronic instructor support stations, and LCD projectors, as well as white boards, and flip charts, offer a variety of room configurations that will provide your instructors and participants with an environment that will contribute to achieving your objectives.
Computer Labs and Videoconferencing Theater
The College’s six computer labs and network lab offer current business application software. Additionally, our knowledgeable and skilled IT Staff can assist you with custom software and application installations in support of your unique training needs. Our state-of-the-art IP-based videoconferencing theater, which seats 28 participants, also is available.
