Fourth of July Weekend
Please note that the CGPS Stafford Library will be closed on Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th for the Fourth of July Weekend. Regular Summer Semester Hours resume Monday, July 7th.
Database Subscription Changes
UMW Libraries' subscriptions to the following databases will end on June 30th: Academic Onefile; Business & Company Resource Center; Computer Database; Educator's Reference Complete; Expanded Academic ASAP; Gale Powersearch; General Business File ASAP; General Onefile; General Reference Center Gold; Health & Wellness Resource Center; and Health Reference Center Academic. Access to these databases, which had been available via our participation in the VIVA (http://www.vivalib.org/) consortium, will not be available after June 30th.

A Meebo widget is accessible from CGPS Research Guides, our Ask the CGPS Library page, and other CGPS Library web pages and allows you to quickly and easily contact a member of the Library staff. IS THERE A BOOK OR VIDEO YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE ON OUR SHELVES?
The UMW Libraries welcome recommendations from faculty, staff, and students for materials to be purchased for our collections. Please submit your requests online via our new Purchase Request Form. While we cannot guarantee that all requested items will be purchased, all input is appreciated and will be considered! If you need the requested item immediately, please place an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Request via ILLIAD and we will attempt to borrow the item for you from another library.

Getting MAterials from Simpson Library Just got Easier!
CGPS students, faculty and staff can now use ILLIAD to request books or articles from the Fredericksburg campus. The ILLIAD system will allow us to deliver most articles to patrons electronically. ILLIAD can also be used to place InterLibrary Loan (ILL) requests. Please see our ILLIAD FAQ for more information. If you need assistance placing requests, please contact the CGPS Library staff at cgpslib@umw.edu or 540-286-8025.

Summer Semester Hours (May 19 - July 13)
| Monday - Thursday | 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. |
| Friday | 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. |
| Saturday | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. |
| Sunday | Closed |
The CGPS Stafford Library will be closed on Saturday, May 24th and Monday, May 26th for the Memorial Day Weekend and on Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th for the Fourth of July Weekend. |
