Webmail
UMW has separate email systems for students and faculty/staff members. At the current time, the student system is web-based only; faculty/staff may use the web client or the GroupWise client (Mac users should use Mail).
CGPS students do not have student mailboxes on campus. The UMW email system is considered the vehicle for official communication. This tool will be the only tool used by the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and other campus offices. Email will not be sent to other email systems, so you are responsible for checking your UMW account regularly. You may choose to forward mail to another account.
The student email system uses the same password system as Network Resources. Re-setting your Network Resources password takes care of your e-mail access.
