Choose the appropriate program below for registration instructions.

BPS - Bachelor of Professional Studies

Dual Degree - MBA/MSMIS

MBA - Master of Business Administration

M.Ed/Licensure/Education Certificates - Master of Education and Education related courses

MSMIS - Master of Management Information Systems

Business Certificates

*Non-degree registration for business related courses

*Non-degree registration for education related courses

*Non-degree students are students who would like to take classes at CGPS, but have not applied and/or have not been officially accepted into a program.

BPS - Bachelor’s of Professional Studies

  • BPS students do not need an advisor’s signature to register for courses. If you need assistance with the registration process or have questions regarding your program requirements, Academic Advisors are available for appoinments.
  • View Open Classes. The Open Classes link is a BANNER site. *Note: Many students may experience difficulty accessing BANNER and BANNER related links from work because of the firewalls established at their organization. An alternate method would be to try from one’s home pc. Students may use the computers located in the Library at CGPS during the Library's established hours of operation.
  • Online registration is available for new BPS students. Download instructions, log in to your Eaglelink account, and visit the Registrar's website for registration information. Please note that BPS students do not need an RPN number to register online.
  • If you have difficulty registering online, download a Registration form for Degree Seeking Students.
  • Complete the registration form. Example
  • Submit the registration form to the Office of Advising Services. Registrations may be submitted via fax (540) 286-8005, mailed to CGPS/Advising, 121 University Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22406, or deposited in the locked dropbox at the front reception desk at CGPS South.
  • Students will be billed through their official UMW email account for tuition and registration processing fees (tuition rate). Acceptable forms of payment include: check, money order, financial aid award letters, and employer payment forms. Credit card payments must be made online by visiting the Office of Student Accounts website. Cash payments cannot be accepted at this campus.

MBA - MSMIS - Dual Degree

  • MBA and MSMIS students do not need an advisor’s signature to register for courses. If you need assistance with the registration process or have questions regarding your program requirements, Academic Advisors are available for appoinments.
  • View Open Classes. The Open Classes link is a BANNER site. *Note: Many students may experience difficulty accessing BANNER and BANNER related links from work because of the firewalls established at their organization. An alternate method would be to try from one’s home pc. Students may use the computers located in the Library at CGPS during the Library's established hours of operation.
  • Online registration is available for new MSMIS degree students. Download instructions, log in to your Eaglelink account, and visit the Registrar's website for registration information. Please note that MBA and Dual students have a hold on their account until all foundation courses are completed. This hold prevents MBA and Dual students from registering online.
  • If you are unable to or have difficulty registering online, download a Registration form for Degree Seeking Students.

M.Ed - Master of Education &

Licensure/Education Certificates

 

  • To register for courses, M.Ed students must set up an appointment with their Academic Advisor.

  • An advisor's signature or RPN number is required for registration in Education related courses.
  • Students will be billed through their official UMW email account for tuition and registration processing fees (tuition rate). Acceptable forms of payment include: check, money order, financial aid award letters, and employer payment forms. Credit card payments must be made online by visiting the Office of Student Accounts website. Cash payments cannot be accepted at this campus.

Business Certificates

Non-Degree Registration for Business related Courses

  • At the beginning of every academic year, all Non-degree students are required to complete and submit with their registration the following documents:
  • Non-degree students registering for a graduate level course must provide a copy of an undergraduate transcript indicating completion of a baccalaureate degree.
  • Non-degree students may only complete a total of 6 graduate level credits without officially applying to and being accepted into a graduate degree program.
  • Non-degree students registering for any graduate or undergraduate course with prerequisites must provide a copy of a transcript indicating completion of the required prerequisite course(s).
  • Students will be billed through their official UMW email account for tuition and registration processing fees (tuition rate). Acceptable forms of payment include: check, money order, financial aid award letters, and employer payment forms. Credit card payments must be made online by visiting the Office of Student Accounts website. Cash payments cannot be accepted at this campus.

Non-Degree Registration for Education related Courses

  • All Non-degree education students shall be placed on a Wait List to request to register for a course they wish to take if space is available. After all returning and newly accepted Education students have completed registration, if space is available, the non-degree students on wait lists will be notified to request a course.
  • Download and complete the Wait List form and fax to the attention of Connie Gallahan at 540-286-8110, or contact Ms. Gallahan for information regarding wait lists.
