Raul
Chavez has more than 20 years of experience in project management
and business administration. Dr. Chavez works as an assistant
professor of leadership and management at the University of Mary
Washington's College of Graduate and Professional Studies.
He teaches an array of subjects including project management,
marketing strategy, and business strategy. Dr. Chavez developed
the College's Master of Business concentration in project management
and a graduate certificate in project management.
Dr. Chavez holds a doctor of business administration and a master
of construction engineering management. He has taught at Eastern
Mennonite University, among other universities in the USA and
abroad. Dr. Chavez has served as project manager and financial
advisor for several construction companies and as marketing manager
and ISO-9000 internal auditor for a multi-national manufacturing
firm. He has experience as a bank administrator and as a financial
consultant.
