CompTIA A+ CERTIFICATION

The A+ Certification is sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), and certifies the competency of entry-level service technicians in the Information Technology industry.

This certification is recommended for the inexperienced user before taking the MCSE curriculum. It covers calmer hardware identification, installation and troubleshooting, as well as basic single user operating systems.

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of personal computers. To become certified, you must pass two test modules.

A+ certification provides an industry-recognized certification for computer service professionals. Certification means you possess the knowledge, technical expertise and other related skills essential for successful entry-level computer service technicians, as defined by experts from companies across the industry. Many businesses require this certification because many hardware vendors will only allow A+ Certified Technicians to perform warranty service.

A+ Certification training will help you troubleshoot, install programs, use DOS, Windows, and their applications as well as master skills in formal problem solving. You will also gain the benefit of hardware knowledge such as CPUs, memory, storage media, modems, network interface cards (NICs) and peripherals.
