Microsoft Project 2007

Belonging to the New Generation certification family means that these Office Project 2007 certifications are more targeted and simplify the certification path since individuals can focus on technologies and applications in addition to their job titles.  As a result, project managers can distinguish themselves within their specific job roles and technology and application specializations.

Microsoft Project 2007 gives you robust project management tools with the right blend of usability, power, and flexibility, so you can manage projects more efficiently and effectively. You can stay informed and control project work, schedules, and finances, keep project teams aligned, and are more productive through integration with familiar Microsoft Office system programs, powerful reporting, guided planning, and flexible tools.

The University of Mary Washington*s College of Graduate and Professional Studies Microsoft Project 2007 course is designed for professionals for whom project management is an integral part of their daily jobs. This hands-on fundamental applications course addresses the critical role of software for effective project management. Students will develop a working knowledge of the most commonly used project management software, to initiate projects, manage activities and resources, track schedules, and report project information to stakeholders.

Prerequisite: Project management experience.
