Library Catalog - This is the catalog of books and periodicals held by the UMW Libraries. Search for periodicals.

Book Request Form - Use this form to request books held at the Simpson Library.

ILL Book Request Form If the Simpson Library does not have the book, use this form to request that a copy be obtained for you from another library via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

THE BASIC STEPS TO OBTAINING A BOOK:

1. Search in the Library Catalog of all books owned by the Simpson Library and the Stafford Library. Be sure to note whether or not the book is on the shelf (available) or checked out. You must present your UMW identification card (EagleOne card) to borrow books.

2.  If the book is available at the Simpson Library, use this form to request that it be sent to the Stafford Library for you to pick up which will take one to three days. If you prefer, you may go to the Simpson Library and borrow the book using your EagleOne card.

3.  If the book is not owned by the UMW Libraries, use this form to request that we borrow it for you from an library through interlibrary loan (ILL). We will determine which library owns it and make the request. ILL can take up to two weeks.
