An
InfoTrac database that indexes periodical articles of which many
are full-text, on business-related topics. Also includes Investext
Reports, a database that provides abstracts and full text of reports
and forecasts for more than 50,000 U.S. and foreign companies in
53 countries. In addition to the above, includes Company ProFiles,
a database that provides current financial data and directory listings
for more than 150,000 public and private companies in the U.S. Covers
from 1982 to the present; updated weekly.

Contains
full-text periodical articles and other documents, and provides access
to news and investment information.
Emerald

Emerald
is a searchable database providing more than 130 full-text journals.
Subjects covered are: leadership; marketing and human resource management;
library and information management; engineering; plus applied science
and technology. Archives go back to 1994 for most titles, with abstracts
provided back to 1989.
LexisNexis
Academic (UMW/VIVA only)
Hundreds
of full-text sources are covered, including newspapers, magazines
and other periodicals, company and industry reports, broadcast transcripts,
selected reference databases, and legal opinions for most jurisdictions
of the law.
Wilson
Business Abstracts (UMW/VIVA only)
Indexes
close to 350 leading business periodicals. Full-text journals are
not included. Most of the indexed titles are owned by the UMW libraries,
however. Covers 1986 to the present; abstracts included since 1990;
updated monthly.

by the Economics and Statistics Administration at the U.S. Department
of Commerce, Economic Indicators.gov provides access to the daily
releases of key economic indicators from the Bureau of Economic
Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau.

American Industry Classification System (NAICS)
NAICS
is the new "production-oriented" system for classifying
business establishments based on a single economic concept that
economic units that use like processes to produce goods or services
are grouped together. This system enables statistical agencies in
the United States to produce data that can be used for measuring
productivity, unit labor costs, and the capital intensity of production;
constructing input-output relationships; and estimating employment-output
relationships and other such statistics that require that inputs
and outputs be used together.
